Marriott Receives Global Services Leadership Award

Of all the awards he’s received throughout his illustrious career, J. Willard Marriott Jr., Chairman and CEO of Marriott International, Inc. has never been recognized outside the hospitality industry until now. On March 24, 2004, the Center for Services Leadership honored Mr. Marriott with its first annual Global Services Leadership Award. The Center for Services Leadership – at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business – chose Mr. Marriott because his accomplishments are living proof of excellence in the strategic business use of services. He has also demonstrated commitment to his community.
